Marcus Nash Program Director/Head Coach
Marcus Nash is a nine time US National Cross Country Skiing Champion, two-time Olympian and seven year member of the US Ski Team. After competitive ski racing for over twenty years Marcus became a coach for the Far West Ski Association and Auburn Ski Club. Marcus’ emphasis as a coach are technical development, increasing endurance capacity, and strength training. Marcus has competitive and coaching experience in cross country skiing and cycling.

During my twenty years of competing as a cross-country skier I had the opportunity to learn a great deal about endurance training and racing. The goal of All Mountain Training System is to utilize the latest scientific research and techniques and add them to the core of our training system. Tav Streit Sport Science Director/Coach
Tav Streit has broad competition and coaching background. As an athlete Tav was a competitive runner, downhill skier, tri-athlete, and cross country skier. He is still actively competing as a member of the Subaru Factory Ski Team. Tav’s coaching experience includes working with both the University of Nevada and Montana State University as the head Nordic coach. He has also been an assistant coach for the Far West Nordic Ski program in Truckee, California. Tav has coaching experience and expertise in many sports including skiing, running, triathlon, and snowboarding. Tav’s optimism and energy is a great asset to our coaching staff. Tav’s athletic background, combined with his education, make him an outstanding coach.

Christer Skog Sport Science/Coach
Christer brings an impressive resume to All Mountain Training System. Christer has coached the US, Swedish, Australian and British Ski Teams During his tenure as head coach of the US Ski Team Christer lead the US to their best Olympic performance in decades in the 2002 Olympic Games. As the personal coach for Czech skier Martin Koukal, Christer’s training program lead Koukal to a gold medal in the 50 kilometer race in the 2003 Skiing World Championships.
He brings much more than an impressive coaching resume. Christer has undertaken some of the leading physiological tests on endurance athletes in Sweden and Australia. Studying in Sweden Christer attained the highest physiology and coaching degrees. His research includes altitude training, aerobic capacity analysis, and effects of cold air on the respiratory system. He has coauthored several books on physiology and endurance training. Christer is currently directing physiological testing in Torsby Sweden at the newly developed Swedish Ski Tunnel.

Jeff Schloss Coach
Jeff Schloss has been coaching cross country ski racers and endurance athletes for almost twenty years. He has experience coaching the Auburn Ski Club junior teams in Truckee, California, the Far West Junior Nordic ski team, and also doing many masters coaching clinics.
In 2006 Jeff was named as US SKI Team coach for the US World Junior Nordic team and the US Under 23 World Championship team. The US Junior Team had its best results in the past twenty years!
From 2000-2005 Jeff was the head coach of the Far West Junior team and piloted the division’s movement up the National ranks from 10th to fifth over the years. In that time he coached many Junior national medal winners and Junior National Champions, including Matt Gelso who was recently named to the US Ski team as the youngest member of the team at age 18.
From 1993 to 2000 Jeff was the head Nordic coach for the University of Nevada, Reno bringing a small club based ski team in 1993 to a National powerhouse of a team finishing 9th at the NCAA National Championships in 1998.
Jeff has a strong background in Physiology and melds his years of coaching experience with his own avid racing background in xc sking and Triathlon to bring a coaching style that is well field tested

Sara Salo Sport Science/Coach
Sara has an impressive athletic and scholastic background. She was a member of the US Biathlon Junior National Development team for 2 years while attending college in Duluth Minnesota. She earned a bachelors degree, summa cum laude, in Exercise Physiology from the College of St. Scholastica in 2004. After college she worked with the US Ski team Sports Science staff on strength and nutrition studies, as well as coached nordic combined athletes at the National Sports Foundation in Park City, UT. Sara also coaches the Auburn Ski Club's Development and Competition teams.

Sally Jones Coach
Sally has been coaching as a profession for almost 20 years. Her Nordic focus began in New Zealand, where she coached The National Junior Team before moving to California to develop & run the Nordic Ski Teams at The Auburn Ski Club. Under her leadership, the Ski Club has made its mark on the National scene by producing many successful athletes & being awarded The USSA's Cross Country Ski Club of The Year twice. Sally is well renowned for her eye for technique and her work at keeping athletes focused and centered

Ben Grasseschi Coach
Ben is currently the Head XC Skiing Coach for the Auburn Ski Club, Junior and Master Programs, as well as Head Coach for the Far West Masters and Junior National Teams
Ben grew up skiing in Montana and Idaho and was a member of the College of Idaho XC Ski Team. Ben’s strengths as a coach are his ability to keep athletes motivated and excited about training and competing.
